Handmade Little Girls Storybook Dress / Folk Cottagecore Dress / Fairytale Costume Dress

Handmade little girls dress in the most beautiful vivid blue with soft white puff sleeves and red ribbon lace-up detailing across the bodice. This piece has such a sweet old-world storybook feel to it — like something from a fairytale village, children’s theater production, or cottagecore dress-up trunk.

The skirt has lovely volume and includes attached tulle underneath for that extra twirl factor. It photographs so beautifully outdoors and would be adorable for imaginative play, themed photoshoots, Halloween costumes, renaissance fairs, birthday parties, or display/collection pieces.

One of my favorite details is the bright orange ribbon lacing against the blue fabric — it gives it that whimsical handmade charm that makes it feel truly one of a kind.

Please note this is a handmade piece and not factory-made, so there are visible signs of hand construction throughout the interior. There are unfinished seams, loose threads, visible repairs, and wear around the zipper/back closure area. The waist was also made on the tighter side, so I strongly recommend checking measurements carefully before purchasing. Despite the imperfections, it still has such a charming fairytale presence and would be wonderful for someone who loves handmade theatrical or vintage-inspired pieces with character.
